Why is the centuries-old Bhagavad Gita still read by yoga students today? Because its timeless teachings include how to
harness conflict, crisis and uncertainty to create positive change
make decisions that are in line with your deepest needs
live a more fulfilling, authentic life
face death more peacefully, and without regret.
This workshop will introduce you to the remarkable breadth of experiences that yoga can encompass, provide ideas for incorporating yoga more fully into your life, and present simple techniques that you can use to manage stress, improve focus and face unexpected challenges
This online program will include discussion and some gentle practices. ALL are welcome - no experience with the Bhagavad Gita is necessary!
Your instructor, Atmadarshan, has used the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita to navigate several life crises, including the prolonged death of her mother from cancer. She has enjoyed introducing this amazing poem to people across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe, and has completed her own original translation of it. She looks forward to sharing the Gita with you!
